Ohio Reformation Prayer Update

Over 100 nights have been taken for the UpperRoom 120. Praise the Lord!!

Thanks to all the churches and pastors who have agreed to be a part of UpperRoom 120. Our strategy is to build an upper room over Ohio and believe for revival. (Click here for complete strategy.) We still need about 20 nights filled, but we are almost there. Also, we would like to have multiple venues in several counties each night. So pastors, get your praise teams and take a night or several nights of worship. Give us your contact information and we will help you advertise. (Click here for the form to fill out.)

Also remember, we start 40 days of fasting and prayer this Sunday, January 2nd. Pastors, congregations, and people all over Ohio are participating. Let’s agree together for the greatest move of God in history to be released in Ohio and America. We also begin 40 nights of worship here at the Oasis this Sunday at 6pm. Praise teams from around the area are assisting with this special call to worship. The participation has been tremendous. Thanks so much. A unified effort is great to see. Unity causes the anointing of God to flow. Indeed, may it pour forth!

Sunday night at 6pm, Jeremy Burk from Texas will be here to lead the worship. Jeremy is a gifted psalmist. He led the worship at Freedom Church in Colorado Springs (my brother’s church) for years. He is also in demand at conferences and revivals all over America. Jeremy traveled with us on the Awakening and Reformation Tour and always led us into God’s presence. You are going to love this young man. His heart for God is contagious. Please be here to kick this strategy off. Bring people with you. Bring vanloads-young and old. Let’s open the heavens over Ohio in a new way. (No charge for this event-an offering will be taken.)

80 nights of worship throughout Ohio


The Prophetic Word of the Lord through Prophet Chuck Pierce was to have 120 days of prayer and worship and build an upper room in Ohio. This would start a great awakening in Ohio and it would shift America. After months of prayer and meditating on how to do that, the following is our advisory council's strategy. I believe it is Holy Spirit given. Thank you in advance for your prayerful reading of it and your consideration of its implementation.

On January 2, 2011 we will begin 40 days of fasting and prayer. We are asking as many pastors around the state who will, to encourage their congregations to participate in some type of fasting and prayer. Fast a meal a day, fast all day, or do a vegetables only fast. Here at the Oasis we are encouraging our children to participate. Not a fasting of meals, but perhaps snack food or pop. Everyone can get involved in some way. I know many churches already begin the year this way. Thank you. Let's do it in agreement for great revival in Ohio.

Also, we will be having live worship each night. On week nights we are alternating praise teams from around the state. This will begin at 7 pm. The format is simple - worship from 7-9 pm every night no matter how many are present... Worship! Open the Heavens!

Then... on Sunday nights (during the first 40 days) we are bringing in praise teams that are more national, such as Rick Pino, Eddie James, Jeremy Burk, Trent Corey, and others. We will begin Sunday evenings at 6 pm. Bring your youth groups... bring everyone... it's all free... no charge for any night. (We will receive an offering.) Come and let's worship on these special Sunday evenings. Help me spread the word.

Then... after 40 days of fasting, praying, and worshiping, on Friday, Feb. 11th at 7 pm. we will hold our Prophetic Summit. No preaching that night. We will worship and allow the prophets to speak to us. Barbara Yoder from Shekinah Church in Michigan, Jane Hamon of Christian International & Vision Church in Florida, and Dutch Sheets, apostle and leader of the United States Alliance for Reformation will prophesy the Word of the Lord to us. Other prophets will also be present. Come expecting to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to Ohio and this nation! We will hear a "NOW" Word. Last year was awesome in spite of the terrible weather! This year, let's go to a new level. Don't miss this year's Prophetic Summit Friday, Feb. 11th at 7 pm. It will be a special night after 40 days of fasting, prayer, and worshiping. The WORD OF THE LORD should be clearly heard. Come expecting!

Then... we have 80 more nights of worship to complete around the state of Ohio. From Feb. 13th through May 3rd I'm asking churches to hold a night of worship. Will your church be one of those? We need you. We need churches of all faiths participating.

The format is simple. Use your praise team and pick one of the 80 nights. Invite people to come and worship. Perhaps churches in a county could do it together. Maybe you could do two or three nights, or perhaps even a week. Please do at least one night during the week if you can. Even if the number of people attending is small, it's important that we worship in our regions.

NOTE* No church is too small to host these nights of worship. We need you! Tell us the night you are willing to host. Pick any day(s) between Feb. 13th - May 3rd. We will then help you advertise throughout the state. We will all be praying for you that night. Let's build an upper room over Ohio! Also, please come to the Prophetic Summit Feb. 11th. On that night we will be praying for the churches and pastors who will host these nights of worship. Also, the prophetic team, Dutch, Barbara, and Jane, will lay hands on you, commissioning you and your church to build the upper room in your region. Please pray for us as we implement this vision. Obviously, no one person or church can do it alone. However, together we can corporately get this strategy done. Let's rise as Christ's church in Ohio. Let's fast, pray, and worship. Let's ask, seek, and knock with faithful, persistent intercession until revival breaks forth all over this state!

Iran's Khamenei Threatens a "punch" that will "stun" the West

Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Monday that Iran is set to deliver a "punch" that will stun world powers during this week's 31st anniversary of the Islamic revolution.

"The Iranian nation, with its unity and God's grace, will punch the arrogance (Western powers) on the 22nd of Bahman (February 11) in a way that will leave them stunned," Khamenei, who is also Iran's commander-in-chief, told a gathering of air force personnel. His comments came as Iran said it would begin to produce higherenriched uranium from Tuesday, in defiance of Western powers trying to ensure the country's nuclear drive is peaceful.

The country's top cleric was marking the occasion when Iran's air force gave its support to revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, a key event which led to the toppling of the US-backed shah on February 11, 1979. This year's anniversary is expected to become a flashpoint betweensecurity forces and supporters of opposition leaders Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi, who charge that the June re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was rigged. Opposition supporters are expected to stage anti-government protests on Thursday when the traditional regime-sponsored marches to mark the revolution take place across the country.

Mousavi renewed his call for demonstrations on the February 11 anniversary.
Just over a week ago, he and Karroubi had implicitly called for a gathering of their supporters. "The 22nd of Bahman is upon us, truly it should be called the day of gathering," Mousavi said on his Kaleme.org website Monday. "I feel we have to participate while maintaining the collective spirit as well as our identity and leave an impression," Mousavi said. "Anger and bitterness should not take our control away. "The clerics should know that since imprisonment, beatings, and other confrontational methods are done in the name of Islam and the Islamic regime, it is hurting Islam and we all should try to stop," he added. Anti-government protests were first triggered after the June 12 presidential election won by Ahmadinejad.

Over the past eight months, several thousand people were arrested. Some were released and others were given hefty prison terms, among them politicians, journalists and human rights activists. Two protesters were tried, convicted and hanged in the aftermath of the election. Khamenei told the air force personnel the "most important aim of the sedition after the election was to create a rift within the Iranian nation, but it was unable to do so and our nation's unity remained a thorn in its eyes."

COLLEGIATE DAY OF PRAYER

College campuses are historically places where God has awakened our nation and revived the church to His purposes. “More potently than by any other means, change the university and you change the world,” said Harvard Professor and UN Ambassador Charles Malik. If we win the spiritual battles on all fronts across our nation but neglect our college campuses all our progress will be undone in a generation.

Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few.” The problem is with the number of workers rather than the non-believing population. At the same time the war for the hearts and minds of college students has never been stronger. More and more colleges are sending out workers who destroy God’s kingdom rather than building it. Students across our nation need a cross-generational prayer movement to shift this tide.

In short, they need you.

For almost 100 years our nation has reserved a special day each year to pray for colleges. God faithfully answered those prayers and America witnessed an era of ongoing revivals and awakenings.

Let's believe God together for another great awakening in this generation. There has never been a greater need than right now. Nearly 100 years later, it's time to break the silence!
